- If the person has difficulty breathing, chest pain, dizziness, or loses consciousness.
- If the sting covers a very large area of the body.
- If the sting is on the face, eyes, or throat.
- If the person stung is a young child or an elderly adult, as they can be more vulnerable to the venom.
- If the symptoms get worse over time instead of improving.
